If your kids decided that your wall is the perfect place for them to draw, do not despair. There is a quick and easy way to get rid of the drawings (crayon marks, for example). Just spray some all-purpose cleaning solution on a piece of cloth, and start rubbing. Another way to achieve the same results is to use a bit of toothpaste and a soft brush. However, sometimes problems occur – the area you just cleaned might change in color or fade. Try to be artistic and come up with a way to deal with that.
When you remove a shelf or a piece of decoration off the wall, nails often stick out. If you don’t do something about them on time, they will result in a huge area of peeled, destroyed paint. The solution is simple – just nail them back with a hammer. If you happen to have a pair of pliers, just pull the nails out, once and for all! A hole will remain, however – use a compound to cover it up, or hang a picture to hide it.
If a smooth wall is damaged, you can patch it up with a spatula. Dents can be filled up with a compound. The drying process is a bit long, but well worth the wait!
